How does Wowbrary leverage social media?

Each week, Wowbrary will automatically post onto Facebook, Instagram, and X, and pin onto Pinterest summaries of your new books, movies, and CDs.

These posts and pins provide greater visibility because they "come from" your library. Facebook posts and Pinterest pins also appear on your patron's pages when they "like/follow" your library.

What do the posts and pins include?

The Facebook posts include a summary of your latest acquisitions and titles of some of the most popular. The posts also include a graphic showing covers of many items, arranged in different styles you select and including animations. Finally, each post offers a link to the current Wowbrary webpage featuring all items for the week.

The X posts include a summary of your acquisitions and a link to the Wowbrary webpage with all items for that week. The posts can also automatically include animations or pictures of your new books.

The Instagram posts feature a summary of the latest acquisitions, hashtags you add, and graphics of the covers.

The Pinterest pins include a summary of the latest acquisitions in whole, or for a specific category. You can have them include graphics and a link to the appropriate Wowbrary newsletter webpage.

Are these easy to use?

Yes. The posts and pins occur automatically each week, with no effort on your part. The set-up is easy too.

For Facebook, you choose which pages you want posts to appear on, the type of items to be in the post, the graphic style you would like, the text, and when to post.
For X, you select the feed the posts go to, the graphic style, the text, and when to post.
For Instagram, you select the graphic style, the text and hashtags, and when to post.
For Pinterest, you choose which boards you want to pin to, which category of items to show, and the style of graphic.
